The Couple
After days of snooping on his Match.com profile Lauren wasn't all that surprised when Alex finally messaged her about her day. Two weeks of texting and drunken voice notes, lead to a cocktails and dinner date in Camden that neither of them wanted to end.
Fast forward four years and not only have they shacked up together, they've moved to the seaside, got two cats and they're getting hitched!

The Venue
Hydro Hotel has 82 en-suite rooms with the south side boasting beautiful coastal views. Having the wedding just downstairs means you can party til lights up then roll up to bed and join us the next day in The Orangery for our first breakfast as a married couple the next day.
Hydro Hotel are kindly offering a special rate for anyone wishing to stay the night before, night of and night after so make a weekend of it! Simply state that you're staying for the wedding (and that it was postponed from this year so you get the 2021 price) when you call to book your room and the wedding rate will be applied.

The Location
On an elvated spot on the south coast, Hydro Hotel is easy to get to. Trains from Victoria, Brighton and Ashford arrive at Eastbourne Station, a 5 minute drive from the hotel. There is also on-site parking for all guests.

So we can have as many of the incredible people in our lives who we love and cherish, there to celebrate our special day we will only be able to accommodate the children of the Bridal Party and aiming for a child-free reception after 8pm.

Planning a wedding during a pandemic has been a real...adventure so we have decided we deserve the honeymoon of our dreams and have booked a week at The Ixian Grand, an adults all inclusive resort in Rhodes.
