After first auditioning for Monologue Slam in 2015, Lauren continued to write and perform her own pieces in hopes of being selected to join the ranks of some of the UK's strongest up and coming actors honoured with the chance to compete for the TriForce Events Monologue Slam Winner title.
in February 2019 Lauren was selected as the Monologue Slam Masterclass winner to perform in the first Slam of the year. Along the way she met a host of other incredible female writer/performers from around the country, who bandied together to collate their funny, heartfelt, dynamic and sometimes Slam winning pieces into one very special monologue book.
