With a lot of time on her (and the rest of the worlds) hands, during the Covid-19 global pandemic Lauren used it to work on her writing skills, participating in competitions and challenges as well as hosting acting competitions of her work.

Here are a selection of performances from a range of brilliant actors of original pieces written during lockdown as well as some pieces from the monologue book Slam Speeches Lauren wrote for in partnership with TriForce Events: Monologue Slam.

The Panther
Written, rehearsed and shot in 48 hours The Panther was written as part of the Keep On Writing Challenge on Twitter. After being given the word RUST and a performance time limit a sub 2:30 minute piece, Performed by the fantastic ​Billy Herring and Lea Marie Herring 

Ronacoaster
With so many actors at a loose end, trying to find ways to flex their skills, Lauren hosted a competition with prizes of BLM charity donations in the winners names. Inspired by the current climate the Ronacoaster competition was won by the awesome Matilda Childs

Don't Touch The Art 
Featured in monologue book Slam Speeches, written by 8 female Monologue Slam contestants, Don't Touch The Art is inspired by true events and performed with beautiful honesty by ​Kaitlyn Akinpelumi
